No peripherals would respond or input, and neither of my displays would come back even given a reboot. No big deal though I ordered a 360mm nzxt AIO heatsink to handle the overclocked processor's extra high temps.Īlso Windows 11 Pro 64bit was installed to "plan for the future" horrible decision given its current compatibility issues and performance losses.īUT after about a week of the machine functioning regularly my screen went black and OS locked up. The builds fan could barely handle it before the OC but the cooler is no where near enough to maintain the I9-11900k at 5.3Ghz. Any research shows the rocketlake ( described CPU) is programmed from manufacturer to boost its speed until it reaches its temp limits by default meaning its essentially overclocked out of box to a degree and is known to run very very hot. playing EFT my processor stayed between 85-99c, these temps aren't just bad they're completely unsestainable for any real amount of time. I work remotely during the day and game at night. I just invested in a new Rig with a Geforce RTX 3080 Tuf, Intel I9-11900k 8/16 3.5Ghz Oc'd to 5.3Ghz, ADATA 8GB DDR4-3200 x4, MSI Z590 Pro Wifi CEC, 1000watt gold 80 plus PSU, and ridiculously )only a cyberpower 120mm AIO watercooler).Ī tech savy parent ordered the build as a suprise and was told it was plenty to handle the high OC. Same Issues here, apparently its very common but not easy to diagnose and not widely recognized by the most likely culprits from what I have read over the last months research. (I can include other specs, or elaborate more on these if it would help, please ask and I can provide it) Any advice or ideas on what could be the issue? I’ve waited long enough for the build/gpu to arrive. Even paid for “professional wiring.” I will not be shipping it to them for repair, only for a return. The only time I actually could see the “Welcome” screen to begin setting the PC up for the first time was when the GPU was removed and HDMI plugged into the motherboard. I have checked the connections, made sure the appropriate display setting was selected on my monitor, used different ports for the GPU and nothing works. Just got a replacement sent from them, tried different cables, different slots, even moved the GPU to one of the other available ports in the PC and it’s still having the same issue- No Signal on my monitor. That worked, so they said it’s likely an issue with the GPU. They indicated to remove the GPU and run the cable directly to the motherboard to troubleshoot. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what I should do to fix it.Purchased a Gamer Infinity 8800 Pro SE and right out of the box, when I plugged in a monitor cable to the GPU, it read “No Signal.” I tried both HDMI and DisplayPort connections. I’m too afraid to mess with a lot of the other wires and mess things up. I checked the inside to see if everything was plugged in, and it seems like everything is fine. The tech support through the manufacturer was useless and unhelpful, as was the support for Best Buy. In order to test my monitor, I plugged my Mac into it, and it works fine. I have tried switching all the inputs around, tried a different HDMI cord, and I have tried turning it off and back on repeatedly. Sometimes my keyboard and mouse light up, but only sometimes. There are 3 other ports, but I’m not too sure what they are for, as there were no cords for them. There are no VGA inputs on the PC, only a single HDMI. All the lights and fans turn on, but there is no input to my monitor. It got delivered on Saturday and I just unboxed it.

I know nothing about PCs but did my research on what brands would be the best for my budget. It’s an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB memory, AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, with 1 TB HDD and 500 GB SSD. I recently bought a CyberPower PC from Best Buy.
